Diffusing wave spectroscopy (DWS) is the development of dynamic light scattering able to give information about the local dynamics of particle dispersion in a highly turbid medium. Two modes are using in DWS: (a) transmission and (b) backscattering, which are applied for particle size and microrheological analysis.
